A collaborative laboratory of researchers, students and professors between the University of Coimbra in Portugal (UC) and the Østfold University College in Norway (OU) to propose, develop and evaluate an innovative model to address privacy on IoT.
Our Privacy Model
Given the research challenges identified in the literature, we decided to propose and develop a People-Centric IoT privacy-aware framework, leveraging some concepts and contributions that are well-established in the existing proposals of the state-of-the-art, but also going beyond them by addressing some of the identified challenges. The proposed framework architecture relies on a centralized system, which mediates between users (data subjects) and IoT service providers (data controllers).
